Chef Ladislav Jakoubek

We are not inviting the exceptional chef, a lover of fish and quality steaks, to our restaurant for the first time. You may have already met with Mr. Jakoubek at the very first tasting evening where this amazing tradition began. He also wandered through the streets of Paris with you during the Diner en France evening.

In his professional history, his long-standing experience in the kitchen of Prague Castle stands out as a shining star, an honour that is not granted to just anyone.

A menu that combines the flavours and colours of autumn.

His five-course menu will begin with Bruschetta with roasted beetroot and Parmesan chip. The earthy flavour of beets complements the rich notes of cheese perfectly.

Next up will be Frog legs in puff pastry with vegetables. This culinary treasure represents the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, aiming to delight and impress with every bite.

As the third course, the menu features Veal rump with pumpkin puree and chanterelle ragout. Once again, it’s a traditional autumn variation that will transport you to the autumn forest with its delicate flavours.

As the leaves fall and the trees rustle, autumn entices us to slow down.

The Venison “Sika” back with chestnut puree, potato sticks, and dried plum sauce is the splendid highlight of the entire tasting experience. The delicate venison meat pairs perfectly with the robust autumn flavours of chestnuts and the sweetness of plums.

The main ingredient of the dessert will be everyone’s favourite autumn produce – pumpkin. A chocolate cupcake with pumpkin cream will conclude the entire menu.

The only thing left for true perfection is the wines, which we select once again with the help of experts from Winery “U Pesatu”.
